Job Description

Join our dedicated team at Health First Pharmacy as a Pharmacist, where you will play a critical role in patient care by dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring the safe use of medications. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of pharmacological therapies and a commitment to patient education to enhance overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices for safe medication administration.
  • Advise healthcare professionals on drug interactions and medication compatibility.
  • Provide guidance for the management of chronic diseases.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to support their medication therapies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to policy development.
  • Engage in research and stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manage pharmacy documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient records.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
