Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs using CAD software.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
• Assess existing structures for repair or rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during project reviews.
• Ensure that designs are cost-effective while meeting specifications.
• Conduct load calculations and structural analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Structural Analysis Software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD)
• Project Management
