DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented SOC Analyst to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture. The role will involve analyzing security events, managing incidents, and implementing security measures to protect our network and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
• Ensure security protocols are in place on cloud services.
• Track and manage system logs and performance metrics.
• Contribute to tooling and platform improvements.
• Work closely with security engineers to enforce security best practices.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve application deployment issues.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and tool advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Jenkins

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Linux system administration experience: Good understanding of Linux systems and networking.
