As an Educational Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with their academic journey. You will provide personalized support, helping students select appropriate courses, understand academic policies, and develop their career plans. Responsibilities

• Guide students through the course selection process, helping them to align their studies with career aspirations.
• Provide students with information on academic requirements, resources, and support services.
• Assist in the planning and execution of student workshops and events focused on academic success.
• Act as a liaison between students and faculty to advocate for student needs and concerns.
• Utilize student information systems to track student progress and outcomes.
• Conduct individual advising sessions to assess student needs and create personalized action plans.
• Engage with students proactively to encourage academic engagement and resolve challenges early.
• Work with external stakeholders, such as schools and universities, to foster collaborative relationships.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all advising interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3 years of experience in educational advising or counseling

Technical Skills
