Job Description

Join our reputable veterinary practice as a Veterinarian, where you'll diagnose and treat a range of animal health issues. You will work closely with pet owners to deliver the highest standard of care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform examinations, diagnoses, and treatment of various animal species.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as necessary.
  • Assist in surgeries and emergency procedures when required.
  • Educate pet owners on general health, nutrition, and preventative care.
  • Maintain detailed medical records for all patients.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal care.
  • Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice
