As a Pharmacist at Health Care Pharmacy in Durban, you will be at the forefront of patient care. Your responsibilities will include compounding medications, advising patients on safe drug use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing education regarding medication use to healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate patients for medication appropriateness and effectiveness.
• Maintain an organized and professional pharmacy environment.
• Assist in planning and executing health awareness programs.
• Perform inventory control and manage medication storage.
• Engage in research opportunities or projects within the pharmacy.
• Advise on the therapeutic use of medications.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on medication formulary.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Advanced degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• Experience with clinical pharmacy practices preferred
