Job Description

As a Recreation Worker, you will plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for individuals and groups in various community settings. Your role will involve ensuring the safety of participants while promoting engagement and enjoyment through diverse activities.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead recreational activities tailored to participant needs.
  • Design engaging programs that encourage community involvement.
  • Monitor participant safety and well-being throughout all activities.
  • Conduct evaluations of activity effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets for recreational programs and events.
  • Coordinate with local businesses and organizations for resources.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for future recreational initiatives.
  • Engage with diverse populations and adapt activities to their interests.
  • Train new staff and volunteers in safety protocols and program delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
