Job Description

As the Newspaper Carriers Supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for ensuring prompt newspaper deliveries to subscribers throughout Johannesburg. Your leadership and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining high standards of service and resolving any customer service issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of newspaper carriers to meet delivery targets.
• Develop and assign delivery routes for carriers.
• Conduct regular team meetings to motivate and engage staff.
• Ensure high standards of customer service in all interactions.
• Oversee the use of delivery tracking systems to monitor progress.
• Report on team performance and identify training needs.
• Facilitate communication between carriers and upper management.
• Implement solutions for operational challenges and inefficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in Logistics or Management is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in logistics or a similar field.
