Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Public Health Officer to enhance community health in Durban. This role involves evaluating health statistics, developing outreach programs, and fostering partnerships with local organizations to improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead community outreach initiatives and health campaigns.
• Assist in the planning and execution of immunization drives.
• Evaluate environmental health risks and recommend solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for health educators and volunteers.
• Engage with media to disseminate public health messages.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health or related field
