Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to join our Durban team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation processes, robotics, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects related to the development of automated systems.
• Utilize CAD software to create designs and schematics for automation systems.
• Perform testing and validation of automation solutions.
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment and processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize existing systems.
• Prepare reports on project progress and performance metrics.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering and business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in automation engineering
