Job Description

Tech Innovations Inc. seeks a dedicated IT Support Technician to support our Durban operations. This role involves resolving technical inquiries and maintaining IT equipment, contributing to our mission of exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support inquiries.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular system checks and maintenance.
  • Provide support for network-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with IT security policies.
  • Assist in data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Develop guides and documentation for users and staff.
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback on IT processes.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • IT Industry Certifications (e.g., ITIL, A+) are advantageous
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
