Extruding and Forming Machine Setter/Operator/Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Extruding and Forming Machine Setter/Operator to join our production team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to produce fiberglass dowels that meet stringent specifications. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extruding and forming machines efficiently to produce fiberglass dowels.
• Conduct quality inspections and document findings to guarantee adherence to specifications.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Monitor production output and report any discrepancies to management.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
• Assist in training new operators as required.
• Support other areas of production as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in Manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience operating production machinery.

Languages

• English: Fluent
