Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for a range of engineering tasks including design, analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for civil engineering projects that positively impact communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, planning, and execution of complex civil engineering projects.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Identify potential challenges and propose viable solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support the development of engineering policies and procedures.
• Participate in the planning of infrastructure development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation
• Civil Engineering Certification Board (CECB)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
