Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Pretoria team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructures such as highways, railways, airports, and bridges.
• Ensure designs are economically viable and environmentally sustainable.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and teams throughout the project.
• Inspect and assess existing structures for safety and functionality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Utilise engineering software for design and analysis.
• Advise on the selection of appropriate construction materials and methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

• 3+ years of relevant experience
