Security Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Security Engineer and help define our security posture. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular security assessments, monitoring network systems, and fortifying our defenses against external threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead security projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Research the latest security threats and deploy countermeasures as necessary.
• Prepare and present reports regarding security status to the management.
• Advise on the procurement of new security tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Information Security is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a security role

• Network Security
• Firewall Configuration
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SIEM tools: Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management tools for security event management.
• Knowledge of cloud security: Understanding of security measures for cloud environments.
