Lab Technician - Durban - Research and Development

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our research and development team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and a passion for developing innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory tests and analyze results for research projects.
• Collect and process biological samples under strict quality control measures.
• Monitor inventory of lab supplies and assist in ordering new materials.
• Support the R&D team in experimental design and protocol development.
• Prepare solutions and reagents for use in experiments.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Laboratory Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in laboratory work
