Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our existing operations in Cape Town. Candidates should have a solid foundation in cloud technologies and automation tools. You will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud-native applications leveraging AWS or Azure services.
• Establish and implement DevOps methodologies across projects.
• Automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
• Collaborate on software development projects to streamline integration.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization and optimize service costs.
• Create documentation and training for DevOps processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather operational requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in related fields preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software development roles

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
