As an Investment Banker in our Cape Town office, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising strategies. Your analytical skills and market insight will directly contribute to our clients' financial success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed financial models to support fundraising initiatives.
• Develop pitch books and marketing materials for client presentations.
• Lead negotiations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Identify potential investment opportunities and assess their viability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar discipline
• Master's degree in Finance is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in M&A or corporate finance

Technical Skills

• Valuation Techniques

• Negotiation

Certifications

• CFA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in equity research or asset management: Experience working in roles that involve equity research or asset management will be beneficial.
