Mobile Application Developer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative and skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile applications that provide excellent user experiences. You should be passionate about mobile technology and have a solid understanding of the latest frameworks. Work with a collaborative team that values design thinking and agile methodologies while contributing to impactful projects in the mobile development landscape.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use across different projects.
• Ensure high performance of mobile applications and a quality user experience.
• Identify and fix bugs ahead of releases to streamline app functionality.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Engage with the development community and share knowledge within the team.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs in mobile applications.
• Adopt best practices in mobile app development, including design and testing.
• Mentor junior developers as needed to build a strong tech team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Mobile Computing
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development

Technical Skills

• Flutter
• Version Control (Git)

Certifications

• Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect
• Scrum Master Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices: Knowledge of CI/CD tools to improve deployment processes.
• Interest in UX/UI Design: Passion for user experience design principles is an added plus.
