As an Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating risks and determining coverage for various insurance policies. Your expertise will help us create comprehensive solutions that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring profitability for the company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze risk factors and provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders to clarify coverage needs.
• Review existing policies and recommend adjustments when necessary.
• Utilize underwriting software to enhance accuracy in decision making.
• Develop professional relationships with external agencies.
• Monitor claim trends to identify potential risks.
• Offer guidance on compliance requirements for regulatory frameworks.
• Assist in the evaluation of loss control measures.
• Prepare and present underwriting reports to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related discipline
• Professional accreditation in underwriting is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting roles

Certifications

• Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (FIRM)
