Job Description

As an Interior Designer at Creative Interiors Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in designing captivating spaces. You will engage with clients to understand their aesthetic and functional goals, creating design plans that reflect their personality while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their vision and objectives for interior spaces.
• Produce visual presentations using software like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Select furnishings, materials, and color palettes that meet client specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for best practices.
• Evaluate the functionality and safety of designs while in compliance with regulations.
• Organize project timelines and schedules to ensure efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the interior design industry with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Photoshop
• Color Theory
• Furniture Design

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Client Relations

Certifications

• National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
