Responsibilities

• Assess clients' mental health needs through interviews and standardized tests.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client requirements.

• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Stay updated on mental health research and best practices in therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling
• Registered with HPCSA

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical therapy setting

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Trauma-Informed Care

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• HPCSA Registered Psychologist
• Certified Mental Health Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience with group therapy techniques: Competency in facilitating group therapy and support sessions.
