Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Investment Banking Associate to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be integral to providing exceptional advisory services, conducting market analysis, and facilitating client relationships. You will work closely with senior bankers to assist in executing various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services. Candidates should have a strong analytical background and a passion for finance and investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client pitching and relationship management.
• Conduct due diligence for prospective transactions.
• Provide analytical support to senior management on deal assessments.
• Assist in business development initiatives to enhance service offerings.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a financial-related field
• Master's degree preferred in Finance or Business Administration

Experience

• 3-5 years of investment banking experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Quantitative Analysis
• Financial Analysis

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or above
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
