Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on sustainability practices and compliance with environmental regulations. You will assess environmental impact, develop strategies for improvement, and work closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and audits for compliance verification.
• Advise on waste management and reduction strategies.
• Develop educational materials on sustainable practices for internal use.
• Collaborate with external partners on sustainability projects.
• Review and update environmental policies to align with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related position

• Ecological Risk Assessment

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
