Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor at Health & Wellness Services, you will be responsible for helping clients navigate their mental health journeys. Your expertise in counseling and ability to create a safe space for clients will be essential in fostering their well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for clients suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders.
  • Implement client-centered approaches that respect individual needs and preferences.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic exercises focusing on mental wellness.
  • Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system and community resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Sociology
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health will be an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a counseling role
