Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Structural Project Coordinator to manage the execution of our structural engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and plans.
• Develop and manage project schedules and resources.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops as necessary.
• Support quality assurance and compliance measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in managing structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• SAP2000
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Team Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Geotechnical Engineering Principles: Understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical design.
• Knowledge of Local Building Codes and Regulations: Awareness of South African building regulations and standards.
