Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Train and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students.
• Coordinate with labs and radiology to facilitate timely patient diagnostics.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Nursing registration with SANC

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical environment

• Emergency Care
• Medication Management

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Bilingual capabilities (English and Afrikaans): Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Knowledge of EHR systems: Experience using electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
