Foreign Trade Teacher

Job Description

The Foreign Trade Teacher will be responsible for teaching foreign trade concepts and practices to students in a supportive classroom environment. You will develop lesson plans, facilitate engaging discussions, and provide practical training opportunities that equip students with vital skills.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to various learning styles.
• Lead discussions and address questions related to complex trade issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students during and outside class.
• Develop assessments to measure student understanding.
• Foster collaboration with other educators for cross-disciplinary learning.
• Implement technology-based teaching methods and tools.
• Organize extracurricular activities related to foreign trade, such as workshops or guest lectures.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Stay informed of alternative teaching methods and educational technology.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations or related field
• Master's degree in Education or Foreign Trade is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of teaching experience with a focus on foreign trade

Technical Skills

• Proficient with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom)
• Research and Analytical Skills

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Positive reinforcement

Certifications

• Curriculum Development Certification
• Certified Foreign Trade Professional (CFTEP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Other language skills preferred: Intermediate
