Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrator in Port Elizabeth, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our healthcare facility. This includes managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and improving patient care standards. Your role is crucial in creating a seamless experience for patients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee office management and ensure the smooth functioning of administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective patient communication strategies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to administrative staff.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Evaluate patient feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage supply chain and procurement for the healthcare facility.
  • Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate billing and payments.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of healthcare administration experience

  • Knowledge of South African healthcare regulations
