Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems and a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. In this role, you will troubleshoot electrical systems, perform installations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement electrical installations and maintenance routines.
• Monitor and repair electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret technical documents and schematics accurately.
• Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance.
• Assist in the design of electrical systems and layouts.
• Provide mentoring and support to junior team members.
• Report on service and repair activities regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical systems

Technical Skills

• Electrical Circuit Design
• PLC Programming

Certifications

• Certified Electrical Technician
• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
