Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and information against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with security standards, and developing security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures.
• Assess and revise the organization's cybersecurity policies.
• Respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives.
• Evaluate third-party vendor security practices.
• Lead security projects and participate in audits.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting cybersecurity.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise during audits and investigations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or relevant field
• Master's degree in Information Security is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
