As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide targeted instruction and support for middle school students with learning disabilities. • Create tailored lesson plans suited for each student’s unique learning needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education
• Additional certification in special education is highly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes Expertise in developing Individualized Education Programs.
• Familiarity with assistive technology Proficient in using assistive tech to enhance learning.
• Behaviour management techniques Ability to manage diverse behaviours in the classroom.
• Empathy Strong ability to understand and relate to students' emotional needs.
• Communication skills Able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
• Collaboration Experience collaborating with various stakeholders for student support.

• Experience with diverse learning needs: Hands-on experience with students from various backgrounds and abilities.
