Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead our Durban warehouse operations, ensuring that best practices are followed. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory levels, and maintaining safety compliance. Your expertise will be vital in driving operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensure smooth workflows.
  • Maintain documentation for inventory levels and shipping schedules.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts related to inventory discrepancies and logistical challenges.
  • Establish performance metrics and oversee adherence to them.
  • Support initiatives to optimize warehouse layouts and processes.
  • Engage in regular safety audits and training to promote a culture of safety.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and encourage feedback and suggestions.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within warehousing
