Responsibilities

• Review and approve insurance policies based on thorough risk assessment.
• Work with data to create risk profiles and recommend coverage adjustments.
• Prepare reports on underwriting outcomes and metrics.
• Train and mentor junior underwriting staff.
• Stay updated on market trends to inform underwriting strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
• Additional qualifications such as a Master's degree or further certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in underwriting or relevant insurance positions

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)
