Job Description

As a Data Scientist, your primary function will be to develop models and algorithms that help analyze trends, patterns, and insights from large data sets. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to deliver innovative data solutions that meet our client's expectations and requirements. Your analytical skills will be key to turning data into strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments and analyses to support business operations.
• Utilize statistical methods to identify significant relationships within data.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data navigation.
• Develop data governance frameworks for data collection and analysis.
• Engage with stakeholders to define their data needs and project requirements.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and processes to enhance data analytics efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops to enhance data literacy within teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or data science role.

• Tableau
• Hadoop/Spark

Certifications

• IBM Data Science Professional Certificate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques: Experience with regression analysis, time series analysis, etc.
• Experience with big data technologies: Proficiency in working with Hadoop, Spark, or other big data frameworks.
