Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our data analytics team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will leverage data to uncover insights, optimize processes, and influence data-driven decision-making across our organization. You’ll work with large datasets, applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract valuable information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for various projects.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify correlations and help inform business strategies.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide useful solutions.
• Construct data visualizations to communicate results of analyses.
• Implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.
• Conduct A/B testing and experimentation with models.
• Document methodologies, results, and recommendations for future work.
• Mentor junior analysts and help them develop their skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and modeling
