Responsibilities

• Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, cutting, and styling.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are clean and in good working condition.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and foster trust.
• Educate pet owners on grooming care and ongoing maintenance.
• Attend grooming workshops to enhance skills and stay current.
• Uphold health and safety regulations for pets and staff.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering grooming supplies.
• Provide first aid to pets when necessary.
• Maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere in the salon.
• Contribute to marketing efforts through social media and community events.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in professional pet grooming
