UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our team in Cape Town. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and the ability to work collaboratively with product managers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop user personas based on research and data analysis.
• Design intuitive navigation flows and layouts for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate user feedback into design iterations.
• Work closely with product management to translate business requirements into effective designs.
• Update design documentation and project specifications.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and branding.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Figma
• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile app design: Demonstrated ability in designing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Experience with user testing methodologies: Familiarity with various testing methods to validate designs.
