Hoist and Winch Operator

Job Description

Join our team as Hoist and Winch Operators, where your expertise in operating levers and switches will contribute to the safe and efficient movement of transport systems. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the operation of various winching equipment in compliance with company policies.
• Accurately document transportation activities and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure effective workflow.
• Participate in training and safety drills as required.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and well-organized.
• Perform safety checks on hoisting equipment before each shift.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
