Job Description

As the Art Framing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the framing department, ensuring that all framing projects are executed to the highest standards. You'll manage a skilled team and foster relationships with clients while maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of framers, ensuring they meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Oversee all aspects of the framing process from cutting to assembly.
• Provide advice to customers on framing options and design choices.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss projects and resolve issues.
• Educate team members on new framing techniques and materials.
• Develop and maintain records for each framing job.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training or certification in art and design preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in art framing with at least 2 years in management
