Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects while maintaining open communication with clients.
• Identify potential challenges and propose effective engineering solutions.
• Document all phases of design and assessment processes for compliance and quality control.
• Stay informed of industry trends and attend relevant training sessions.
• Participate in safety assessments and ensure engineering practices align with safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree with a focus on Structural Analysis is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of designing and executing structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Finite Element Analysis

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification
• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
