Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who is meticulous and analytical, to support our finance team in Johannesburg. You'll engage in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial analysis to guide our business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform management decisions.
• Assist in creating financial models for strategic planning.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Produce comprehensive reports for financial review meetings.
• Identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or similar qualification is highly desirable

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel
• Power BI

• Analytical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with financial forecasting tools: Hands-on experience with forecasting tools used in financial planning.
• Prior experience in a similar industry: Working experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
