Job Description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project options and alternatives based on client needs.
• Design civil structures ensuring they are functional and aesthetic.
• Prepare bid proposals and evaluate contractor submissions.
• Supervise construction activities and address issues on-site.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Attend and lead project meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments as needed.
• Stay abreast of changes in standards and legislation affecting civil engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technologist (CET)

Languages
