Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our users in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT administration and customer service, ensuring the efficient operation of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through technical support.
• Monitor system performance and report any issues.
• Assist in user account management and permissions.
• Participate in IT projects as needed.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes and updates.
• Provide on-site and remote support as required.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT Support
• Relevant IT certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is preferred

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Remote Support Tools

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in IT project management: Exposure to managing IT projects and implementations.
