We are looking for a dedicated Dentist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will focus on providing comprehensive dental care to patients, performing various dental procedures such as examinations, extractions, fillings, and cleanings. You will work alongside a passionate healthcare team, fostering an environment of trust and quality care for our diverse patient population. A strong emphasis on patient education is crucial, ensuring that our patients understand their oral health needs and treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose dental diseases and conditions.
• Administer local anesthesia and perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Ensure high-quality standards in all dental procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Engage in community outreach to promote dental health awareness.
• Assist in training new staff in dental procedures and patient care.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior dental staff.
• Assist with administrative duties related to patient management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent field
• Additional certifications in specialized dentistry preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in dental practice

• Oral Surgery
• Dental Radiography

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of dental implants and prosthetics: Experience with placing and managing dental implants.
