Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our finance department by preparing reports, conducting financial modeling, and performing market analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us achieve our strategic goals through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models for various business scenarios.
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Track key performance indicators and provide analytical support.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions and financial decision-making.
• Prepare presentations to communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying operational efficiencies to improve profitability.
• Work with IT and data teams to improve reporting tools.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis to understand financial risks.
• Document and maintain financial processes for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with external partners for financial benchmarking.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CIMA are an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial services or consultancy

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• SAP or Oracle Financial Systems

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CIMA or ACCA certification is preferred
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
