Job Description

The Yield Improvement Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing yield optimization strategies that enhance product quality and reduce manufacturing costs. This role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot yield issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee data collection and statistical analysis to identify trends in manufacturing yield.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency.
  • Regularly review production schedules and outcomes to align yield goals.
  • Collaborate in product development meetings to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Research and apply advanced yield enhancement techniques and technologies.
  • Report directly to senior management on progress and potential areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role or related field
