Job Description

We are looking for an Aircraft Cargo Handling Supervisor to oversee ramp activities, ensuring safe and efficient handling of cargo operations. The successful candidate will coordinate ramp teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all ramp activities, ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations.
• Manage and train the ramp operations staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate operations.
• Implement best practices for cargo handling to enhance service quality.
• Analyze ramp performance data and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with airlines and ground service teams for smooth operation.
• Conduct safety briefings and training for ramp personnel.
• Handle and resolve any issues related to cargo handling and ramp operations.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance among all staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Aviation Management or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in airport ramp operations

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
