Job Description

As a Cooling and Freezing Equipment Operator, your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain freezer storage units. You will ensure that all frozen goods are stored correctly and that safety protocols are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of freezing equipment to ensure functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor faults in the freezing units.
• Implement maintenance schedules for all freezing equipment.
• Train new staff on freezer operation protocols.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in developing inventory management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food safety certification is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a foodservice or hospitality industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of HACCP
• Cold Storage Systems

• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent
