Job Description

As an Insurance Appraiser, you will assess vehicle damages and determine repair costs, liaising with insurance companies and repair shops to ensure the highest standards are achieved. This role requires strong analytical skills and an understanding of automotive repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on vehicle damages.
• Work alongside auto body technicians to ensure effective and accurate repair estimates.
• Liaise with insurance companies to expedite the appraisal process.
• Stay informed on new technologies in automotive repairs and appraisals.
• Ensure thorough adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the appraisal process.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Certification in Auto Body Repair is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in auto body repair or similar fields

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of vehicle makes and models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with industry-specific appraisal software: Hands-on experience using appraisal software like Audatex or CCC One.
• Knowledge of vehicle restoration techniques: An understanding of the latest vehicle repair methods and systems.
